Welcome to the Richard M. Nixon Institute website!

We are proud of our school’s accomplishments during its 50 years of existence. As the current principal, I feel honored to be leading an institution of excellence. Our teachers are well trained and supported, our parents are committed and engaged, and our students...well, I think they are the best students in the whole world!

As a school accredited by the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) we are confident that this is the best place to learn in Liberia. I am committed to making an effort into ensuring a safe and caring environment for our students.

Here’s hoping for a fun-filled virtual journey through our school!

Respectfully,

Alphonso Goll

RMNI Principal

Our Culture

Campus Life at RMNI is a rich experience complete with exciting daily and weekend activities as well as community service opportunities, athletic events, and spiritual gatherings.

Spiritual Life

The overall life at RMNI is directed by Christian spiritual life. This is evidenced in the daily rhythms of our school community. Students are encouraged, challenged, and nurtured by faculty, administrators, staff, coaches, alumni, speakers, and their friends and classmates to become responsible followers of Jesus Christ. The integration of faith and learning in the classroom, daily school devotion, and outdoor services On school grounds, all serve to help foster individual growth in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Students are required to attend daily devotion and outdoor service. They hear from guest speakers, the RMNI faculty, and their peers on a wide range of topics. In addition, each semester the school observes Gala Week when a guest speaker addresses the students in a series of services for a week.

Athletics and Extracurriculars

Students are encouraged to take part in athletic activities. At the beginning of each school year, each class at RMNI competes in class meets in various sporting activities including football, kickball, and basketball. Students have opportunities to play on the school teams which compete in various organized sports.

Bright Futures

Students are an integral part of our community at RMNI. Students come from local villages and communities ranging as far as 1 to 5miles radius. Their experience is a wonderful mix of daily home life, while receiving a quality education. The presence of visiting students on campus affords RMNI students the opportunity to form lasting friendships, a wonderful preparation for service to others.
